On the power of service- Spotlight on Titilope Nasiru, Our Customer Success Manager.
Women’s access to and participation in financial activities are highly contingent on efficient and quality service, which is why at HerVest, we’re celebrating the Power of Service-the theme for this year’s 2021 customer service week-by honouring our employees who work on the front lines to deliver practical financial solutions to our customers.
One of these, was a recent fireside chat with Titilope Nasiru, our Relationship Manager at HerVest. She gave us a glimpse into her job and how she adopts the #powerofservice to provide our users with an excellent experience.

- Hello Titi, can we meet you? My name is Titilope Nasiru and I am the Customer Success Manager at HerVest
- Please summarise your role to us? I respond quickly and accurately to customer inquiries and provide solutions via phone, email, and the issue resolution dashboard. I also help customers navigate the features of the HerVest app. Part of my responsibilities includes ensuring that customers have a smooth experience when using the product.
- How would you describe your job to a six-year-old? I am like your mummy, your teacher or elder sibling who assists you with that homework you might not understand. I am the one who you should run to if you need any help. I am here to help you so you don’t get stressed about anything.
- Describe the customers at HerVest with one word? Daring! Permit to add, exceptional! lol
- What do you enjoy most about your job? I love the opportunity I get to forge new relationships with our users and even associates. I appreciate being part of a process that brings enlightenment and happiness to people I haven’t met.
- What key qualities should a customer service associate have? My job has taught me the importance of kindness, empathy and patience (You will need a lot of that) which is a humbling experience. More so, you must learn to be proactive and have an eye for details. This is essential to manage situations so they don’t get out of hand.
- What does the power of service mean to you? Service is self-development, service is leadership, service is pouring yourself with no limitations to create impact which indirectly puts you in the position of power.
I recognise that quality service is pivotal to the success of any business and particularly at HerVest, where our priority is onboarding more women to access the layers of financial services. This is a tough job. You can’t do this without professionalism and patience.
8. What’s the magic word you can’t do without? Thank you! Is that one word? (laughs).
